I have always enjoyed capturing images of the countryside and nature for posterity. My first venture into this world was working in the media department of a local company . It was at this time I gained my experience in Darkroom techniques and printing (long before Digital Images). From there I went to work in a Photographic environment, which enabled me toget into the great outdoors at times and absorbing the natural beautyofthecountryside. In the 1970’s I completely altered course and went into the drinks industry but continued to fit in photo shoots when I could.
I retired from the drinks industry in 2012, which has given me lots of time enjoying my photography and relaxing.

Monochrome photography is where each position on an image can record and show a different amount of light, but not a different hue. It includes all forms of black & white photography, which produce images containing shades of neutral grey, ranging from black through to white. Other hues besides grey, (such as sepia, cyan, blue, or brown) can also be used in monochrome photography.
In the contemporary world, monochrome photography is mostly used for artistic purposes and certain technical imaging applications, rather than for visually accurate reproduction of scenes.
